Scott Brian Bowers, 51, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009. He graduated from Mukwonago, WI and Eastern New Mexico University. Scott was a resident of Albuquerque most of his adult life. He was a teacher who loved working with his students. Most of his career he taught at Truman Middle School and YDDC in the summer. Scott loved sports and his favorite teams were the Celtics, Raiders, and Cubs. He loved basketball; and was an avid comic book collector, but most of all he loved his family, friends and life. He is survived by his parents, Donald and Darlene Bowers; son, Jacob Bowers, daughter Jayme Bowers; brother, Toby Bowers; sisters Lori Bowers and Heather Muse; step-daughter, Jessica Menning; granddaughter, Jaysha Bowers; nieces, Megan and Sara Bowers, and Jennifer Muse; nephew, Michael Muse, and former wife, Janet Bowers. Scott also leaves behind a large, loving extended family in Wisconsin. He will be laid to rest in Milton, WI.
