Augustine Frederic Romero, Jr., age 38, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2009. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his father, Augustine Frederic Romero, Sr.; and sister, Shirley Sanchez. Augustine is survived by his loving mother, Nancy Vigil Garcia; loving son, Gabriel Romero; loving daughter, Ashle Hendricks; loving princess, Angeliea Lopez and son, D'angelo Garcia; three brothers, Louie Sanchez and wife, Lillian, Robert Sanchez and wife, Anita, and Rogie Sanchez; four sisters, Yvonne Romero, Antoinette Sanchez, Sally Sanchez and husband, Ricky and Georgia Garcia; 27 loving nephews and nieces, 14 loving great-nephews and nieces. A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, beginning with a viewing on Thursday, August 6, at 6:30 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Friday, August 7, at 8:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
