Linda Kane. Memorial for Linda Kane Scott, 61, of Albuquerque will be held at 1PM, Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at St. Peter's Anglican Church, 8100 Eubank NE, Albuquerque, with reception to follow. Linda passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Linda was born May 10, 1948 to James and Eugenia Kane in Stapleton, Staten Island, NY. She married George David Wilkinson Scott Dec. 9, 1976 in Groton CT.; George passed away in 2007. George and Linda moved to New Mexico in 1997 from Deer Isle, ME. Linda was an accomplished Doctor of Philosophy, an internationally recognized scholar of 18th Century British Literature, a respected and beloved educator, and an inspiration to those around her. Linda is survived by her mother, Eugenia Kane of Tampa, Florida; her sons, James Oliver Andrew Scott and his wife Naomi, of Albuquerque, NM; Christian Alexander Wilkinson Scott and his wife, Sarah, of Severn, MD; her stepsons Dana Wilkinson Scott and his wife Kelli of Pawtucket, CT and Gordon Wilkinson Scott of Mystic, CT; and one stepdaughter Natalie Scott, of New York City.
