Rufina Montano, 81, passed away Friday July 24, 2009. She was preceded in death by husband Jose Blas Montano and sons: Willie and Johnny Montano. Rufina is survived by sons: Nicolas Montano and wife Margie, Andres W. Montano and wife Denise, and George Melini and wife Marie; daughters: Dorothy Levitte and husband William, Mary Bunn and husband Kevin, Lorraine Williams and husband Jesse, Gloria Intogna and Ruby Montano, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved teaching children at the Centro de Amor pre-school and was known as Grandma to all the children. A Rosary will be Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 9.30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial to follow at East San Jose Cemetery.
