Darrell LaMunyon, 90, was called home on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. He is survived by his daughters, Jerri Prentiss and husband, Bob of Carlsbad, and Linda Oldfield and husband, Bill of Albuquerque; son, James LaMunyon and wife, Cindy of Chandler, AZ; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Esther. He was born in Tulsa, OK, but made his home in Albuquerque. In his early years, he was a trainer and owner of race horses and in his retirement years he loved to be at the race track. Services will be held Saturday, July 18 2009, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
