Lawrence Raymond McCoy II On June 18, 2009, Our beloved son, Lawrence Raymond McCoy II was taken from us and delivered into the arms of our loving God and father. A gentle,loving soul, who loved to learn of cultures and peoples and strove to experience all lives. Born on November 27, 1979 in Albuquerque, NM, Lawrence lived and volunteered in many countries, and did the same in the U.S. in an effort to engage, grow and learn. The memory of the short life he shared with us will be cherished in the hearts of his mother, "Jina" Gloria Romero Becker of Albq, NM; father and mother, Lawrence Raymond McCoy and Terri R. McCoy of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Mathew, Brandon and Jermarcus McCoy; sisters, Autumn Romero Becker, Shawnta, and Mikiba; his grandparents, Reverend William McCoy, Jr. and Thelma McCoy, Gerald E. Johnson and Barbara Johnson; and grandmother who preceded him in death, Elfires Mendoza Garcia; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held July 9, 2009 at 12 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of the Rio Grande Valley, 9381 N Hwy 314 Belen, NM, 87002. Phone 505-864-6611.
