Harriet Gantzer 1912-2009 passed on Independence Day, which her family finds very appropriate. Harriet passed peacefully in her sleep after spending her last day with her daughter by her side. Harriet moved to Albuquerque in 1970 after visiting here and falling in love with the beautiful blue sky. She is preceded in death by her husband Si; and son Michael. She is survived by her loving and caring daughter, Harriet Westman and her "adopted" daughter, Kathy Anderson. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law, Janice Gantzer; grandchildren John, Tim, Sheri and Chris; as well as great-grandchildren. We loved her very much, but God loved her more and called her home.
