Alexander Sanchez "Alex" was born September 10, 1944 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009. Alex honorably served his country in the US Marine Corps in VietNam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleofas and Tillie Sanchez; brothers, Wilfred Sanchez and Uvaldo Sanchez who were killed in action during the VietNam war. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lynette Moody. Alex is survived by his niece, Lynette Srazzini; aunt, Dora Otero; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the American Legion Post 69, 9000 4th St. NW, on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. ABQ. 505-343-8008
