Mary C. In Loving Memory March 20, 1911 - July 2, 1998 My beautiful mom, how I miss you! You've been gone eleven years today, even though it feels like we lost you three years prior. You were stricken with a horrible disease! It robbed you of everything you had and even of who you were. You were no longer the mom I knew, nor would you ever be the mom I wanted you to be. Strength, understanding and patience were needed to cope with the unknown. You are at peace now and I choose to focus on the wonderful memories we made together throughout the years. Looking back, remembering how strong and smart you were, stirs so much inside of me. You were gifted in so many ways, and when I grew up I realized how wise you really were. I can only hope and pray that when my time is up, I will be worthy of joining you and dad once again. For now I remain always - Your Loving Daughter, Angeline Sachs Velasquez
