Eloy Griego, 62, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on June 28, 2009. Mr. Griego is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mrs. Margaret Griego; his five children, Ramona Chavez and husband Ron, Fermin Aragon and wife, Jeannette, Andrew Griego and wife, Barbara, Marleen Griego, and Arleen Griego; his sisters, Regina Gonzales and Trini and Clara Sedillo; seven grandchildren, Allen and Montenique Rodriguez, Isaiah and Gabriel Lucero, Frank Barreras, Sifi Romero, Steven Olivas and Raymond Griego; son in law, Ray Vigil; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and friends. Mr. Griego was preceded in death by his parents, Hermanijildo and Felicita Griego; his daughter Francine Vigil; and brother, Herman Griego Jr. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Gene Gries, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Sedillo, Fabian (Steven) Griego, Manny Gutierrez, Tony Trujillo, Mark Griego, and Lorenzo Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Rodriguez, Steven Olivas, Raymond Griego, Frank Barreras, Sifi Romero and Daniel Baca.
