Obituary for MOYA

Alex C., age 90, a life-long resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Alex retired from the Santa Fe Railroad after 37 years of outstanding service. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Dora Moya and his son, Steven. Alex is survived by his son, Norbert Moya and wife, Rose Marie; two granddaughters, Cynthia Martin and husband, Bill and Melissa Phillips and husband, Brad; grandson, Steven and wife, Alissa; four great-grandchildren, Justin and Hayleigh Phillips, Alessandra and Stefano Moya; three sisters-in-law, Erlinda Moya, Sally Flores and Inez Vallejos; and two brothers-in-law, Herman and Joe Marquez. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, beginning with a viewing on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Rudy Jaramillo, Bill Martin, Brad Phillips, Jamie Goldberg, Justin Phillips and Frank Jaramillo. Honorary pallbearers will be all the care givers at Belen Meadows and Ambercare.
