Virginia M. Salas, 51, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 20, 2009. Mrs. Salas is survived by her husband of 24 years, Albert; her children, Andrea Salas, Nanci Telles and husband, Terrel, and Marc Salas and wife, Tanya; her sisters, Christine Najera and Yvette Ybarra and husband, Sam; her brothers, Carlos Lucero and wife, Carol, and Gilbert Anthony Ybarra; her grandchildren, Amber Telles and Adrian Salas; her special aunts, Del Esquibel and husband, Leo, and Rose Casias and husband, Frank; her sister in law, Bertha Jessen and husband, Paul Sr; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Salas was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2001 Plaza Rd. NW, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father Dennis Garcia, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Ybarra, Isaac Bustillos, Daniel Lucero, Kennedy de la Pena, William Jessen and Paul Jessen Jr. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
