Arthur "Art" Romero, 89, passed away June 20, 2009. He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Romero. He survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Palladini Romero; sons, Arthur Lee Romero and his wife, Esther, Victor Romero, David L. Romero, Michael Romero and Dean Romero; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army in the Phillipines during WWII. He retired from Kirtland Air Force Base. Services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Church.
