Elizabeth (Liz) Pacheco, 57, a beautiful wife and precious mother and grandmother went to be with our Lord, on Sunday, June 14, 2009. She was dearly loved and will be forever missed. Liz was born on July 28, 1951 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was a longtime resident of Alameda and Los Ranchos. She was preceded in death by her in-laws, Augustine and Lydia Pacheco; brothers-in-law, Frank, Manuel and Tony Pacheco, Robert Olivares and Michael Gutierrez. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry; sons, Larry Jr. and Anthony; grandchildren, Pancho, Kylah, Mikayla, and Cole; her mother and stepfather, Erlinda and Gabe Valles from El Paso, TX; sister, Linda Chaves and husband, Bobby, also from El Paso, TX; brother-in-law, Victor Pacheco and wife, Shelley from Olympia, WA; sisters-in-law, Sandra Gutierrez, Lily Pacheco, and Emily Olivares; close family friend, Alex Gallardo; nieces and nephews; her beloved dogs, Oso, Leo, and BeBe; plus many more friends and relatives, too numerous to mention. Services for Liz will be conducted on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Daniels Family Funeral Services, Alameda Mortuary beginning with visitation at 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at 8:30 a.m., with Deacon Joe Santana officiating. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nieces, Augusta Mora, Cynthia Pacheco, Lydia Gutierrez, Amber Pacheco, Jessica Pacheco and Whitney Pacheco. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandson, Pancho; her granddaughters, Kylah and Mikayla; and her nieces, Yvette Trujillo and Danielle Pacheco. A reception for family and friends will follow the Burial from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Post 69 in Alameda.
