Frank Hern, Sr., 79, a resident of Arlington, TX and former resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away June 14, 2009. Mr. Hern is survived by his sons, Frank Hern, Jr., Kenneth L. Hern and wife, Rita, Glenn Hern and wife, Jackie; eight grandchildren, Victoria Tirone, Valerie Naranjo, Jeffery Hern, Bowman Hern, Amanda Hern, Samantha Hern, D'Drianna King and Monique Hern; six great-grandchildren; brother, Oliver Hern, Jr.; five sisters, Theresa Villanueva, Leandra Torres, Mary Hern, Lucille Chavez and Joann Kennedy. Mr. Hern was preceded by his wife Piedad Hern; and brother, Willie Hern. Mr. Hern was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by his granddaughters, Valeria Naranjo and Victoria Tirone. Final visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2009 at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Father James Moore, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bowman Hern, Jeffery Hern, Blake Villanueva, Danny Naranjo, Johnny Garcia and Kyle Pickens.
