Donald D. Jones, 76, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Leona Jones; children, Earlene Harrison, Darlene Harrison, Davey Harrison, Alberta Davies, Clinton Harrison, Douglas Jones, Debra Jones, Sandra Jones, Darrell Jones, and Dennis Jones; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Jones and his mother, Blanche Jones and ten siblings. Donald was a kind, caring person. He loved people, and thought the world of baseball. Services will be held June 18, 2009, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
