Anthony Melki, age 77, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009 in Albuquerque. He was born to Jamil and Fahima Melki in Damascus, Syria on August 5, 1931. Anthony is survived by his children, one son, Jim Melki and his wife, Christy, of Albuquerque; and three daughters, Georgette Melki, Jamila Melki-Nasar and husband, Nasar, and Gina Melki; and two grandchildren, Joseph Nasar and Ornella Nasar. Anthony was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Casia-Melki. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Byzantine Rite, 1837 Alvarado Dr. NE, with Father Kurt Burnette as the Celebrant.
