Kenneth W. Whiteman, 83, local watercolor artist, signature member, New Mexico Watercolor Society, died June 8, 2009, from complications of Parkinson's disease. Survived by his sister, Phyllis A. Whiteman, and numerous cousins living in Illinois, among them Dr. John G. Dietrich, Springfield; Nancy Slack, Champaign; Dorothy Brooks, Jacksonville; and their children. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, on Copper three blocks east of Louisiana, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon.
