Obituary for PERRY

Dorothy L. Perry, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 10, 2009. She is survived by her children, Carley Perry and wife, Glenda, Patricia MacDuffee and husband, Keith, Peggy Gutierrez and husband, Maurice; grandchildren, Ashley Perry, Shane Randall and wife, Shandy, Keesha Anderson and husband, Jared, Brandon Stewart and fiancee, Leah Chavez; great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Alanah, and Dylan; sister, Ester Armijo; brothers, Millard Stump, James Stump, Chester Stump and wife, Thelma; brother-in-law, Walter Bracken; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Pat; son, Ivy; and granddaughter, Briana. Dorothy was a precious and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Extremely talented, Dorothy mastered everything that she attempted including sewing, knitting, crocheting, upholstering, decorating, baking, gardening, canning, painting oils and acrylics. She loved dancing, singing, and playing musical instruments but mostly the piano and guitar. She had the beauty of a movie star and the class to go with it. She will be tremendously missed by all who knew her and loved her. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at French, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
