Obituary for HINDSLEY

Dr. Francis W "Frank" Hindsley, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 24, 2009. He was born in Garnett, Kansas on Feb 4, 1922. Dr. Hindsley has lived in New Mexico since 1963. He served and protected our country during WW II as a navigator for the Royal Air Force and then the US Army Air Force. Dr. Hindsley is a graduate of TCU, received his DDS from University of Texas at Houston and specialized in Periodontics receiving his degree from Baylor University, Dallas. He was an accomplished artist, published poet and inventor. Family and friends will have special memories of Frank, especially his wife of 63 years, Bette; son, Jeff and wife Fran, granddaughter, Jessica; and son, Mark. A Memorial Service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Friday, June 5, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Ross Campbell officiating. The family requests no flowers.
