Adelita F. Duarte, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on May 27, 2009. Mrs. Duarte is survived by her sons, Dan Ortega and wife, Lillian, Steve Duarte and wife, Melissa, and Martin Duarte; her daughters, Christine Jaramillo and husband, John, Donna Valdez and husband, Art, and Doris Duarte; her brother, Major Orlando Fernandez and wife, Rita; her daughters in law, Glenda Ortega and Vivian Ortega; her sister in law, Laura Fernandez; her grandchildren, Christopher Ortega, Isaac Ortega, Fabian Duarte, Crystal Aguilar, Albert Jaramillo, Casey Jaramillo, Linda Archuleta, Loretta Valdez, Monica Valdez, Amy Morales, Jerome Ortega, Teresa Ortega, Patricia Ortega and David Ortega; 15 great-grandchildren; Mrs. Duarte was preceded in death by her sons, Frank Ortega, David Ortega, Albert Duarte and Michael Duarte. Mrs. Duarte was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Deacon Pablo LeFebre. Final visitation will be Monday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with a Communion Service at 9:00 a.m., Deacon Pablo LeFebre, presider. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerome Ortega, Christopher Ortega, Fabian Duarte, Edward Madrid, Isaac Ortega and Casey Jaramillo.
