Lauretta M. Grewis, 90, resident of Albuquerque, passed from this life to be with the Lord, on Friday, May 22, 2009. She was born on January 29, 1919, in Lilbourn, MO, the daughter of Jacob and Lydia Janssen. Lauretta was preceded in death by her husband Eugene A. Grewis in 1982. She is survived by her son Eugene G. Grewis; her brother Jacob Janssen and his wife Helen; her sister Mildred Janssen and numerous nieces and nephews. Lauretta had a love for gardening, photography and travel, but her greatest love was taking care of her family and her home. She spent most of her life in the St. Louis area and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 2003. Friends in Albuquerque may visit French, Lomas location, on Sunday, May, 24, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123 on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 1:30 p.m., with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
