Obituary for DONAHUE

Timothy Joseph Donahue passed away at his home in Peralta, NM on May 12, 2009 after an extended illness. Tim was born in Norwalk, CA in 1957. He grew up in Seattle, San Diego, and Los Angeles. He moved to Albuquerque in 1976 and studied art at the University of New Mexico. In the 1980s he established himself as an independent artist-craftsman, specializing in heirloom-quality wood furniture. Tim's work, which earned numerous awards, sold at galleries and arts and crafts fairs throughout the Southwest. Tim is survived by his wife, Terri Donahue; father, Robert Donahue and wife, Lillian; brother, Kelly; sister, Kerry; step-brother, Mark; step-sisters, Mya, Michelle, Melani, and Marta; step-children, Christina and Denton Donohue and Jamie and Alisha Bustos; and grandchildren, Morgan, Aidan, and Cameron. Memorial contributions are suggested to Presbyterian Hospice Services or Casa Esperanza. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 23, at 6:30 PM at Tim's home in Peralta, 13 Peralta Blvd. Interment will be private.
