William Moses Pearcy, 78, passed away, at home, on May 6, 2009. William was born in NJ to the home of William M. Pearcy, Sr. and Gerda Pearcy. William served 16 years in the Air Force as a cook during the Koran War. He retired from Yellow Freight. William was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lorraine; one sister, Jane Pearcy; and two brothers, Richard and George Pearcy. Surviving are his sons, Arthur N. Pearcy Sr. and his wife, Gloria; Ronald Pearcy and his wife, Jeanette; five grandchildren, Arthur N. Pearcy, Jr. and his wife, Tanya, John William Pearcy and his wife, Jackie, Tylena Pearcy, and Chris, Nicole Bonner and her husband, Adrian, William R. Pearcy and his wife, Ebony; and ten great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert Pearcy and his wife, Mary, and Ralph Pearcy, from PA; Lorraine Gordon and Laura Williams, also from CA; brothers-in-law, Robert Oliver, from VA, Ernest Silva, from CA; and many other family members throughout the US. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
