Ruth "Miriam" Ober, 72, a resident of Albuquerque, reposed Friday, May 8, 2009. She is survived by numerous relatives and friends all across the country. Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Ober. She was born on June 4, 1936 in Bridgeport, CT to Eugene and Agnes Ober. When Ruth converted to the Orthodox Church she took the biblical name of Miriam. She was a long time member of All Saints of North America Orthodox Church in Albuquerque, where she served in the St. Anna's Society. Miriam was a loving friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends and Family may visit All Saints, 10440 4th St. NW, Friday, May 15, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. when the Panikhida will begin. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at All Saints with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
