Roberta J. Hurst, passed away peacefully April 29, 2009. Her last days were spent at home with hospice care provided by family members, exactly as she wanted. Born in Spokane, Washington, to Lloyd and Emma (Morse) Spurrier, she had two younger brothers, Richard and Donald Spurrier. Her occupation was legal secretary at law firms in Dallas, Texas; Austin, Texas; and Seattle, Washington. She and her husband, John Hurst, have been residents of Albuquerque since 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald Spurrier of Boise, Idaho. Her brother Richard Spurrier resides in Baltimore, Maryland.
