Sara Margaret Carlton Cochran, age 68, of Albuquerque, joined her husband in Heaven Thursday, April 30, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cochran on April 19, 2009. Sara was born in El Dorado, AR to Howard and Sally Carlton. She was a 1958 graduate of El Dorado High School. Sara got her college education from Louisiana Tech and University of NM. She was known as a "Social Butterfly", and will be missed by all who knew her. Sara and her family made their home in Albuquerque, NM after Jack's retirement from the USAF in 1975. Sara is survived by a daughter, Kristine Tuttle and husband Tracy; brother, Howard F. Carlton Jr. and family.; grandchildren, Marshall, Dillon and Margaret. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 7, at 10:00 AM, at French Mortuary Westside Chapel with interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
