Pamela, 51, lost her battle with cancer on Friday, May 1, 2009. She was born in Ottumwa, IA on September 13, 1957. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1975. She moved until she found her home in Waterloo, IA where she managed a hotel and was promoted to operations manager for 19 Heartland Inn properties. She helped in the development and success of many of the hotels. She and her husband moved to Albuquerque in 2003 where they both manage and co-manage storage facilities. She has been recognized by the storage industry for her achievements and accomplishments, where she achieved highest honors for her determination, work ethic and customer service. Pam is survived by her husband, Glen Fries; her two sons Jason P. Comer and Sean M. Comer both of Omaha, NE; brother Michael Clary of Vista, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Veva and Ray Clary and grandson Jadyn J. Comer. Visitation will be Sunday, May 3, 2009, 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. A Celebration of Pam's Life will be held Monday, May 4, 2009, 7:00 p.m. at French Lomas Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
