Obituary for CAIRE

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Saturday May 02, 2009

Louis Jack Caire also known as Buddy Caire, passed away at home Tuesday, shortly after being diagnosed with failing kidneys. He left behind loving wife Helen Caire; and daughter Venae Warner and husband Joseph. Known for his humor and perseverance, he owned BC Bailbonds with partner Eric Baca and their notorious building that proudly declared "We'll get you out of Jail if it takes ten years." (As duly noted on the Jay Leno Tonight show.) Son of William Caire and his wife Ruth Chavez. He was brother to Orlinda Caire, Dorella Perea and Lisa Vargas, and deceased Lolie, Kathryn, Loydie, Ernest and Adolph Caire. He served the Army in New Orleans, San Diego and Washington DC as a lifeguard. To the family's chagrin, he was never able to resist a high dive. He worked as a surveyor to the Los Angeles City Engineers but excelled as bail bonds man. There he was able to resource his various talents, and keen interest in the judicial system. Friend and father to many. He commanded and received respect for everyone, and was generous to a fault. Services, Rosary 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening, May 3, 2009 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church at 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, 867-5282. Funeral 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier at 820 South Broadway SE, followed by Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. 821-0800. Reception will be announced at services.
