Major James C, USAF Retired, 75, died April 29, 2009. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Lydia, of 46 years, their infant daughter Janice, and their granddaughter Onida. He is survived by their five children: Diana Hall of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Dolores Rhyne of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Greg Diehl of Orlando, Florida; Cindy Diehl of Albuquerque, New Mexico: Anthony and wife Elizabeth Diehl of Lorton, Virginia; his 14 grandchildren; 14 great -grandchildren; and his brother, John. All whom he loved dearly. A true American Hero, Jim was proud to serve his country for over 20 years. He carried with him the military creed of duty, honor, and country. Jim was a proud man who gave to his children the meaning of truth and justice. He will be greatly missed. Jim and Lydia will be inurned at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, where a private family service will be held.
