Maxine Elmore Williams, June 12th, 1924 - April 9th, 2009. Maxine passed away peacefully in Albuquerque last Thursday. She is survived by her five children: Steve Williams, Jean Williams, Evelyn Genta, Bernice Williams and John Williams, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, of 55 years, Ray Edward (Ed) Williams. They raised their family in Albuquerque and Los Alamos, retired to Socorro in 1987, and returned to Albuquerque in 1999. Maxine's life revolved around her family and church; she was an avid bridge player and artist. Memorial Services will be on April 13th, 10:00 a.m. at ACSL; (Albuquerque Center for Spiritual Living) at 2801 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, with Reverend Sue Gallagher and Reverend Myron White as co-celebrants.
