Olympia "Olie" Sanchez, age 74, a resident of Belen, NM, peacefully joined our Lord and Savior on Friday, April 10, 2009. She was born in 1934She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Modesta Madrid; parents, Rafael and Dolores Aragon; and brother, Joe V. Aragon. Olie is survived by her loving husband, of 56 years, Tony Sanchez, Jr.; daughter, Geraldine Casaus and husband, Greg; son, Dennis Sanchez; four grandsons, Andy, Anthony, Marc and Dale Sanchez; great- granddaughters, Amaya and Analisa Sanchez, who were the light of her life; two sisters, Beatrice Sais, Lucy Wortman and husband, Bob Arias; three brothers, Rafael Aragon and wife, Pauline, Fidel Aragon and wife, Sylvia and Pat Aragon and wife, JoAnn; and two sisters-in-law, Aurelia Aragon and Carmel Sanchez. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and friends. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, beginning with a visitation on Monday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, at 8:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Gene Sais, Dr. Joe Ray Aragon, Greg Wortman, Ralph, Jeff and Norman Aragon.
