Obituary for CLARK

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday April 12, 2009

Jesse T. Clark went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2009, at the age of 84. He was a lifelong resident of New Mexico and the owner of Clark's TV. Jesse had a real passion for flying that began after he finished high school. He joined the Army Air Corps and flew B-17's during World War II. He continued this love of flying for many years and we know now that he is flying higher than ever. One of Jesse's other loves was children. He was a school crossing guard for over ten years, and was affectionately known as "Mr. Stop Sign". Jesse was preceded in death by the love of his life and his "War Souvenir", Jean; and his mother, father, brother, and "Primo". He is survived by his sister, Helen McCluer; his three children, Linda Anderson and husband John, Tom Clark and wife Dolly, and Robert Clark and wife Renee; his six grandchildren, Deanne Downer, Shawn Anderson, and Ryan, Reanne, Ray and Rylee Clark; and his three great-grandchildren Mary Anne, Amy and Seth Downey. Services to celebrate his life will be held at New Covenant Church on April 14, 2009, at 10:00 am, followed by a full military honor service at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 pm. The family would like to thank Total Community Care for enhancing Jesse's life the last two years.
