Hugh Edward Burris, 90, of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Thelma R. Burris. They were well known in the business community for their Heating and Air Conditioning business and later Hugh was popular with the local contractors as the best sheet metal man in town. As a member of the AMMA, his model boat club was a delight to all. He will be missed on Saturday mornings at Tingley Beach. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge and assistant manager of Shore Lodge in McCall, Idaho. He is survived by his two sons Norvan (Lance) Burris, Kevan and Muriel Burris; and two grandchildren; Bradley and Andrew Burris all of Albuquerque. A private family ceremony will be held.
