Joe O. Armijo, 83, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Good Friday, April 10, 2009. Mr. Armijo was born December 28, 1925 in Santa Rosa, NM to Joe A. and Celia Armijo. Mr. Armijo is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Lou Vau Armijo; his 11 children, Darlene Stapleton and husband, John, Dorothy McCoy and husband, Butch, Diana Willis and husband, Daniel, J.D. Armijo and wife, Eleanor, Martin Armijo and wife, Renee, Roberta Carroll and husband, Dennis, Laura Juarez and husband, Richard, Susan Bostic and husband, Gene, Anita Garcia and husband, Ralph, Vickie Cordova and husband, Bill and Rose Ann Gallegos and husband, David; 29 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister in law, Dorothy Wood; his brother in law, Charlie Vau and wife, Betty; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Gene Gries, presider.
