Chief William R. Flores, 58, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, March 19, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Nellie and H.B. Flores. He is survived by his daughter Heather; loving God-mother, Aurora "Dora" Baldonado; siblings Johnny, Patricia, Walter, Mary Elizabeth, Steve, Edith, and Cathy Jo; uncles, Ernest, Fred, Joe, Bob (Olga), Eddie, Gilbert (Rosemarie) and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Billy raced motorcycles and worked as a mechanic for many years. He got along with everybody. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel, April 6, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
