Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday March 29, 2009

Jeffrey Stockton passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Farmington, New Mexico. He was born May 9, 1955 in Albuquerque, the son of William and Maxine Stockton. Jeff was raised in Albuquerque's South Valley and graduated from Rio Grande High School, where he was a star basketball player. Always the practical joker, Jeff was a mischievous little boy who in turn became a wonderful man with a charismatic personality. Every person he met loved him. Jeff enjoyed telling good stories, in most instances, they were tall tales; but we liked hearing them anyway. Anyone whose life was touched by Jeff is truly blessed because he was such a special person. He will be greatly missed by so many! Jeff is survived by his parents, William and Maxine Stockton of Los Lunas, his sister Pamela and her husband John Wolfe of Belen, his nephew and special buddy John Wolfe Jr. of Los Lunas, his son Jacob and wife Melissa Stockton of Farmington and their children, Wyatt and Maddison. He is also survived by his daughter Rebecca Stockton of Las Cruces, wife Cindy Vallejos of Farmington and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dogs. Jeff's final wish was to be cremated, with his remains to be returned home to Albuquerque. Services have already taken place. Donations may be made in Jeff's memory to the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation. www.ocfoundation.org Jeff, you are loved dearly, you'll always be a part of us and we will think of you each and every day for the rest of our lives. May you finally rest in peace little brother.
