Stanley Bacher (73) passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009. He was an army veteran and volunteered for many years with the Lions Club and Salvation Army. He is survived by his children, Cheryl Ann Monarch and Stanley Bacher both of Franklin PA, Stephen and Julie Bacher of Oil City PA, step daughter Janet Pierce of Grand Rapids, MI. Siblings, Dean and Sandy Bacher of Pequot Lake, MN, Art and MaryAnn Bacher of Girard, PA, Eleanor Miller of Carville MD, Linda and Rick Kirsch of Arcadia, FL, Edith and Bob Carson of Oil City, PA. He had 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Bacher was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Villa E. Bacher, mother Emma Bacher and sisters Stella (Sissy), Ruthann Bacher and step-daughter Vickie S. Casias. Service will be Tuesday, March 31, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at the Salvation Army Chapel, 4301 Bryn Mawr Dr. NE. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
