Dennis A. Hein left this earth to be with his Lord on March 18, 2009. He was born on June 4, 1943 and was raised on a farm in North Dakota. Dennis proudly served in the Navy. After the military, he enjoyed a civil service career that took him to Panama and England. He retired in 1998. Following retirement, Dennis was an avid golfer and worked part time for French Mortuary. Dennis was an elder, founder and former president of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Edgewood. Dennis is survived by his wife, April; his children Heidi Williams and Tamra Hein of Edgewood, Charles Hein of Ruidoso and Heather Nelson of Albuquerque; four grandchildren Natasha, Nona, Y. Zuri and Roy, IV; brothers Dale Hein of Seattle, WA and Lynn Hein of Phoenix, AZ; and sisters Beverly Kerry and Doreen Russell of Ruidoso. A Celebration of Dennis' Life will be Monday, March 23, 2009, 2:00 p.m., Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, #5 Entrade Del Norte, Edgewood. Private Ennichement at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
