Jessie Drzewiecki, 89, peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, March 5, 2009. She is survived by two brothers, Roy Sanford, Curtis Sanford (Patricia); sister-in-law, Dorothy Sanford; and a host of extended family members. Jessie is preceded in death by two husbands, Cecil Bradly and Josef Drzewiecki; both parents, Harry and Estelle Sanford; two brothers, Virgil and Gerald Sanford and; one sister, Harriet Sorensen. Jessie was born in Nebraska on April 30, 1919, and settled in New Mexico in the 1940's. She was a waitress for most of her life and she had a passion for crocheting and needle point. Jessie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her as well as her faithful companion Skizieks, a golden lab. A service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Presbyterian Hospice, 8300 Constitution Ave. NE, 87110.
