Obituary for BACA

Lydia T. Baca a resident of Albuquerque passed away at home, with her family at her side, on March 3, 2009. Mrs. Baca is survived by her children, Lee Baca, Florence Crespin and husband, Frank, Fileberto (Martin) Baca and wife, Lydia, and Sylvia Baca; her grandchildren, Clifford and wife, Carol, K.C. and wife, Donna, Stacy and husband, Andy, April and husband, Bobby, Angela and husband, Mike, P.J. and wife, Ana, Phil and friend, Theresa, Toby and wife, Stacy, Anthony and wife, Raven, Gail and husband, Jason, Chris and partner, Sam, Sherrie and husband, Adrian; 42 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Baca was preceded in death by her husband, Liberato; her daughter in-law, Becky, her grandson, Dean; her parents, Juan and Felicita Tafoya; and her nine brothers and sisters. Mrs. Baca was a member of the Catholic Church, the Altar Society at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and a member of the Cursillo. Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Mrs. Martha Herrera. Final visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Father Joel Garner, presider. Interment of Mrs. Baca's cremains will take place in Cubero, NM. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
