Doris Lewis, 81, the matriarch of the Lewis family and a resident of Jemez Springs, passed peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2009. She is survived by her daughter Diane Lewis; son Douglas L. Lewis and wife Phylis; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Guest and wife Mabel; and niece, Mickey Guest. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at Jemez Springs Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Jemez Springs Presbyterian Church.
