Yovonne C. Shattuck (Babe) on February 21, 2009. Mom left us and went to be with the Lord. Mom was born July 20, 1920 in Sheridan, WY. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel S.; and her son, Robert D.; and her parents. Yovonne leaves behind her loving son, Samuel J. and wife Patricia; grandchildren, Cathryn Lewis and husband David, Samuel J. Jr. and wife Elaine, Christine Ervien and husband, Frank , and Amy Beabout and husband Mike; great-grandchildren, Devin Lewis, Jonathan Lewis, Rusty Carter, Anthony Carter, Zachary Beabout and Seth Beabout; great-great-grandchildren, Colbey Carter. Public viewing will be held at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2009 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho, NM, Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery (Wyoming and Paseo).
