Obituary for ELLIOTT

Donna Lenora Elliott, a life long resident of New Mexico, passed away on February 18, 2009 in Wimberley, Texas after a long illness. She was 75, born in Dodge City, Kansas, September 7, 1933. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, R. Glen Elliott. She was a graduate from Las Vegas High. On May 16, 1954 she married. In Las Vegas, she helped manage her family's business, The Home Cafe; she was involved in the United Methodist Church Choir, and was a member of the Eastern Star for many years. In 1991, she moved to Albuquerque to be closer to family. In Albuquerque, she was involved with her family and shared time with loving friends. In 1994, she again moved to be closer to family in Texas. She was actively involved with the youth at St. Richard's Episcopal Church. She loved to take care of her "babies" there. She is survived by her children Martin Elliott and wife Diana and their two children Ryan and Lauren, Victoria Elliott, William Elliott and wife Kristen, and brother Bill Rapp of Roswell and his family. Services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10:00 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or to St. Richard's Episcopal Church of Round Rock Texas.
