Richard M. Barranca was called home by the Lord on February 22, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elvira; brother, Steven; and sister, Jeanette. He is survived by his father, Richard Barranca; son Richard Barranca and wife, Susan; son Mark Romero and wife, Victoria; sisters, Cathy Barranca, Evelyn Shinkle and husband, Tim, Berna Dominguez, Shirley Lacroix and Diana Cassidy and husband, Tom; brothers, John Patrick Barranca and wife, Lisa, Wayne Barranca and Gilbert Barranca; five grandchildren, Ricky Barranca, Elena Romero, Ashley Barranca, Paul Barranca and Makayla Romero; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, 101 North 10th Street, 87002. Interment immediately following at Our Lady of Belen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a mass be paid in Richard's name at the Catholic church of your choice.
