Suzanna Coleman Thompson, 77, died at her home on the Isle of Palms, SC, on Saturday, February 21, 2009. Sue graduated from St. Mary's Elementary and High School in Albuquerque, and attended UNM where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She and her husband, Frank, were married at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in 1955, where she was a parishioner for many years. Her husband of 53 years, Frank Thompson, and infant son, Francis Aloysius Thompson, Jr, preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Ross and Peg Stevenson Coleman and a sister Beverly Coleman Ironside, all of Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by one sister, Nancy Coleman Kuhn of Lone Tree, CO, and six children, Coleman Thompson and wife Vanessa Chambers of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Margaret Bannerman and husband Norman of Chesapeake, VA; Ann Louise Armstrong and husband Brian of Isle of Palms, SC; Sarah Harrington and husband Jim of Kuwait, UAE; and Frank Thompson and Chris Thompson, Charlotte, NC. Visitation and Rosary will be Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Funeral Mass will be Wed., February 25, 2009 Stella Maris Catholic Church, Sullivan's Island, SC, and Interment will be Thursday February 26, 2009 11:30 a.m., at Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, Ga.
