Rudy Sanchez Jr., 73, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 22, 2009. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mrs. Lorenza C. Sanchez; his children, Michael G. Sanchez and wife, Carla, Sandra Sanchez and fiance, Thomas Shaver, and Lorie A. Jaramillo; one brother, Richard D. Sanchez and wife, Cecilia; three grandchildren, Myra Olivas and husband, Jonathan, Christina Sanchez and boyfriend, Freddy Sanchez, and Andrew Heavner; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Olivas; two nieces, Debbie Sandoval and husband, Leroy, and Diana Sanchez-Feerer and husband, Curtiss; great-nephews, Leroy Sandoval, Nathaniel Sandoval, Sandy Sandoval and Jacob Sanchez; and many other extended family members. Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Allen Brooks, presider. Interment will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Michael Sanchez, Andrew Heavner, Jonathan Olivas, Freddy Sanchez, Charles Langford, and Thomas Langford. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Shaver, Jacob Sanchez, Danny Valenzuela and Christopher Zurick.
