Barbara J. Sims, 76, passed away recently after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter Jeannine Sims and her son William Sims, as well as many friends who loved her and will miss her. She loved to travel, growing tomatoes, playing Bridge, her family and lifelong friends. She will be remembered for her patience, her optimism, and the kind words she always had for everyone. A Memorial Service will be held on February 14, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, Centennial Garden, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with interment to follow.
