Matthew Babecka, 26, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009. Born in Albuquerque, NM on March 26, 1982. He is survived by his wife Ebony and daughter Tayamarie, son Xavier; mother Candy; brother Bill; sister Amber; father Anthony "Steve" and a large extended family and friends. All that knew Matt are blessed for having him in their lives and will miss his sarcastic humor, cigarette and extra large coke. Memorial Service will be held at Gods House Church 2335 Wyoming Blvd NE at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009, reception to follow at Macedonia Baptist Church 1509 Edith SE. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been established in the names of Matt's children, Taya and Xavier. Donations can be made at any Bank of Albuquerque under the name of Matt Babecka Memorial Fund.
