Tamara J. Worthington, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family, on January 21, 2009. She was born in Denver, Colorado. Tami was raised in Los Alamos, NM where she met and married Ivan Worthington in 1960. She was blessed with three children who she raised in Los Alamos before moving to Las Cruces, NM in 1993. She had recently moved to Albuquerque, NM in 2007, where she was a member of Sagebrush Community Church. She volunteered her time helping in the preschool area at the church. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and she never missed a ballgame or concert that they were involved in. Tami was preceded in death by her father, Glen Bond, her mother and stepfather Dorothy and James Dean, and husband Ivan. She is survived by three children, Duke Worthington and wife Julie, Debi Eddings and husband Don, and Dutch Worthington. Her four beautiful grandchildren Anna, Daniel, Christopher, and Zachary also survive her. At her request, she will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date this summer in Cabresto Canyon.
